We all know that Students are always placed in sections based on their strengths: those excelling in science subjects join the science section, those strong in arts subjects enter the arts section, and those best in business-related subjects are placed in the commercial section.
In WAEC, we all know that there are three subject areas for senior secondary students. The three categories of students are: Science students, Art students, and Commercial students. These categories of students are for students who study Science, Art, and Commerce, in the order that it was listed.
The 9 Art Subjects To Write in WAEC 2026/2027 Are:

- Mathematics

Notwithstanding, the above-listed subjects are mandatory for every art student in WAEC. But that notwithstanding, other subjects can substitute any of the above-listed art subjects. They include: Agricultural science, Biology, Arabic studies French, Music, and, Commerce.
English Language and Mathematics have long been core subjects in the school curriculum, especially for art students.
